Oh, Lordy. This one got me today. Uncertainty doesn't agree with my personality naturally. I'm a planner. I like to know what is coming for my brain and heart. Well, life hasn't gotten this memo apparently. As we settle into the new normal, I realize and embrace that the "beauty of becoming" has made me who I am today as opposed to who I used to be. Trusting the wait is at times torture.
My mind spins like a website that won't load.
What's going to happen?
When is it going to happen?
Will we be happy there?
Where is "there", anyway?
So many questions and very few answers available. And though the details are different, many of us are in this boat together. Anything is possible but we have to keep pushing. Complacency is the killer of hope. It flattens our dreams like a steamroller.
Encouraging others who are going through crisis has been an unexpected byproduct of this process. As someone I know (and respect greatly) says, "you're either going into a crisis, coming out of a crisis, or headed for a crisis." That is LIFE. And the beauty is in how we deal.
